World Congress 2014

The next conference of the WFRtDS will be hosted by Final Exit Network and ERGO and is taking place from 17-21 September 2014 in Chicago, USA at the Embassy Suites Downtown/Lakefront Hotel.

The FEN WF conference planning committee is creating an inspiring schedule with world-class speakers in the RTD movement. With the theme "Dignity, Control, Choice - Around the World," the committee is focusing on leaders who work on the front lines of legal and philosophical right to die issues throughout the world. Tours available on September 21.

Right to Die Europe meeting in Rome in 2013

Right to Die Europe holds its 2013 biennial meeting in Rome from 14 - 16th of June 2013. The working sessions will be in Hotel Mediterraneo, Via Cavour 15, 00184 Rome. Hosting Society Libera Uscita invites the European member societies to forward the names of their delegates to info@liberauscita.it (and in copy to RtD-E Secretariat) by May 15, 2013, using the registration form to be found here with the program.

Vermont: the first state to pass a Death with Dignity law through legislation!
Lawmakers in Vermont supported the rights of terminally ill individuals and passed a Vermont law designed on the Oregon and Washington Death with Dignity Acts—the first one to be enacted through a legislative process and first of its kind on the east coast.

With Governor Peter Shumlin's signature today, Vermont took a historic step forward by becoming the first state to pass a law modeled on the groundbreaking Oregon and Washington Death with Dignity Acts through a legislative process.

Fondée en 1980, la Fédération Internationale regroupe 49 Associations pour le Droit à Mourir dans la Dignité réparties dans 26 pays.  La Fédération Internationale est une organisation qui permet de créer un lien à l'échelle internationale au service des associations qui œuvrent à garantir et à protéger les droits des individus à choisir les conditions de leur propre fin de vie.
